I wish the forum would have been better attended, but we did what we did. Thanks Jeff for making the Video work, and it was nice to see old friend, FV race pilot and owner Lex Cralley attend. I outlined what I proposed in the straight line Challenges, and the Outback races. Jeff gave a review of the Sportsman cross country races, and his experience in Winning his class, again!!! We will try for a forum again next year!!!...Ed

Here is a shot of the forum. That's Ed in action and not the least bit nervous in front of the crowd. Well done Ed and Jeff. Thanks, Lex Attachments:

Basically I'm curious as to what is being developed. I expect to get most of my information when the rules are published.

There will be two basic activities with Supervee...There is the 'challenge' competition, which is straight line down the runway speed dashes, two half mile runs in each direction, and there is the 'Outback' competition, which is a race out 10 to 15 miles from the airport, and back. Eventually, I want the exposure generated from these events to put a good foot forward to the FAA and promoters, so we can add closed course pylon racing events. To start Supervee, everybody will be lumped together regardless of displacement...as long as the engines are VW air cooled based. As more people enter, we will divide up engine size into different divisions....Ed

I was very encouraged with the OSH turnout for our Supervee forum. I counted 33 people, better than previous years. Thank you all for attending. I will be putting out a 'Supervee Update' newsletter this fall, to recap the years progress.....Ed
