Back home. Decided to go to a threshing show/tractors/old engine/old machinery/old car and truck in Mount Pleasant, Iowa Saturday rather than back to the airfield. While it is a collection of some of the best antique aircraft, I have seen it all many times and am spoiled by those I hang around. The Threshers Reunion show was pretty awesome in it's own right. Haven't been to one since a kid and this one was just great! I have always liked anything mechanical so right up my alley. Great engines, some machining inspiration, homemade popcorn and ice cream, and thought up some good Amish jokes - okay not proud of the last part. My spars arrived while I was gone. Have to plan to spray Polybrush and color this week and can start adding parts. Had to take the Rimco engine case I thought was perfect to the machine shop last week as the main bearings were too loose. I measured .012 out. Not sure as I had them check my similar numbers a few months ago. Hopefully just one line hone size will do it and I can get back to the engine too. I'll post a pic of the panel I set up on the FB page as it's easier to post pics there. To quote an old coworker, "Do something!", Dave
