Ron, Yes..... My friend Jim Vliet was doing conceptual design work on a new Formula Vee in the late '90s, which was being designed to be easy to kit, and there was talk of manufacturing quantities of components for this aircraft, as a large racing sposorship was in the works. I had talked with Jim about building fuselages for him. With the demise of FV, and Jim's resignation from FV, the project was scrapped. Other than intellectual data and a cockpit mockup, no actual airframe was built. I purchased hardware from him at that time, such as wheels, tires, small components that he did not need. I believe the domain name, 'total racing concepts' is still available for sale, from Mr. Vliet....Ed

Ed, With SuperVee in the works, do you think this design will come back? Are the design rights for the TRC-1 for sale or just the "name"?
Thanks.......

I don't believe this design will 'come back'. I don't believe there was enough done with the design to provide any substance, to give it any value.... What J. Vliet had for sale was just the Domain Name.
