Below is a scanned photo from the 1988 Formula V Air racers at the Albuquerque, NM airshow. Missing in the shot are 2 other racers a yellow V-Witt and a Sonerai I. Below is a scan from the newsletter of the same race's qualification talley. A real Golden Era for the Sonerai's and V-Witts. Ed's built Sonerai I is the second from the back with the razor back canopy.

Tom, Thanks for posting that…..Great memories, 'to a point'….I became ill (sinus) after doing a test flight at Albuquerque with Blueberry, and asked Carl Swenson to race her, after John Bregar, my alternate, decided to race a different plane…After this race we discovered that my engine's builder had put low compression cylinders in the engine. After Charlie and Jim bought the airplane from me, Charlie's engine skills got it going lots faster……..…All's well that ends well…. Posting pictures like this helps spur enthusiasm, thanks, Tom…..
