So I showed what meager start I have with the Wagner V Witt in another thread. I would like to see where everyone else is on their projects. Maybe just a statement of your current project, update pics, or maybe this will light a fire and encourage a commitment for progress in the new year. Mine isn't in as bad of shape as it would appear - actually not a bad start at all for someone who likes, no, prefers building. I have, unofficially, decided to postpone the Midget Mustang build(once the tail cone is complete) and work on the Witt. First order of business will be to blast the fuse, inspect, and epoxy prime. This will include the control surfaces. From there fabricating the few missing parts(mostly control) and plumbing will be more leisurely and covering can commence. Just my plans. Yours? Good topic, Dave…I have four projects, so I will be brief on each. My Supervees first…#14, N14CT, is a restoration of one of the most famous Formula Vees ever built…'Beetlebomb', built by the late Charlie Terry. I acquired the burned remains in 2012. Many years ago (late '80's) Charlie had an in-flight fire, and he got it down, but watched helplessly as it burned on the runway. Charlie passed away about 3 years ago, and the family wanted me to have the airplane to restore.. I am about half done with the restoration. This airplane raced in the first ever FV race in 1977, and was a record holder and point standings champ. Sonerai N4X, Race #41 is another re-build project, which is about half done as well. This aircraft raced at Cleveland in 1979. My plan is to do the difficult restoration work, then make it available for someone wanting to get involved with Supervee. #77 Veebee, is my own design, is about 50% built, and awaiting me to finish the Sonerais. I designed it to be a very inexpensive to build Vee. It is similar in theme to the Cassutt and Renegade…..My plans are to make construction drawings available, and provide basic components. I also have a Cassutt 111M project, recently acquired, and I am completing the fuselage welding, and will be working on this project with the possible idea that it can be retro-fitted with a new motor mount for VW power. It will also use my Cassutt 'Booster Tips' which I designed years ago, to bring the wing area up to 75 sq. ft…… Pictures of these projects can be seen on the Supervee Air Sports Facebook page…..Ed Fisher

My Sonerai is collecting dust again, I made some really great progress on it last September and then took on a small hangar project that distracted me. This little hangar project has turned into a full renovation with plans to move to the airport sometime this year. It's a shame that the Sonerai isn't completed but in the long run having the hangar finished will be a dream come true. Plus this will put me and the Sonerai at the airport where we belong, close to the workshop and runway!
