Dave, medical issues. You are the only Supervee that seems to be doing anything. I will call you soon....

Put me in, coach! I now have a flying Sonerai....not the fastest in the world....but faster than it was sitting in my shop!
Glad you two are still out there. Sorry to hear about your medical issues, Ed.
All the best, Chucker

Some photos on the Sonerai site. I should upload the "first flight" video....although the distance makes the airplane look very small. I'm flying out of Prescott and they have a problem with people wandering out to the edge of the grass.

The plane has over 20 years of flying under its wings. It was built by Dave Wilcox as an IILTS with a Continental A-80 up front. I bought it last January with nothing forward of the firewall and all the front controls and seat removed. I put my Revmaster 2100 on the nose and replaced the controls and front seat with removable components. At its peak, the plane weighed 690 pounds empty. It now weighs 590. Its no speedster....but it will climb out of a 5,000' MSL airport with two adult males at 500 fpm. With just me onboard, it trues out at about 160 mph.

Sounds pretty good to me! I did go over to the forum and saw the discussion about it. I was under the impression you were working on another one even earlier on. Great work. Plenty of room in the front for cameras! Did you put your race number on it yet? Dave
