Well, none of us were able to go last your but I think my wife and I are leaning towards a pass this year. We were going to take a break last year but COVID made that decision for us. So it sounds silly to skip OSH if we were forced to skip it last year. However, our decision was based on the NOTAM and the flux that OSH arrivals has seen for the past two events. First, in 2018, it was the heavy rains, flooded parking, and the necessary nerfed arrivals. We heard many just returned home or took busses up to OSH leaving their planes at outer airports. Some just camped at those. Certainly a lot of that couldn’t be helped. The following year, 2019, we just aren’t sure what happened. They were sequencing planes so far apart and staging people elsewhere apparently to reduce congestion. Arrivals were just no fun to watch. To us, with the suspected crowd this year, it could be another ATC cluster. This lack of excitement, even in the name of safety, just isn’t what we go for. We were already feeling a bit robbed two years in a row(not counting COVID) as plane camping on the flight line and watching arrivals with 20+ friends is what we had become hooked on. It was so dead that few of us sat for long to visit and watch - it was becoming that spread out. I’m afraid a third year of disappointment with sequencing would sour me and I don’t want that. We are not 100% out but this is the way we are leaning. Dave KC
