One of the former FV pilots has a Sonerai 1 Project that consists of a formerly flying, damaged airframe, and an almost complete under construction airframe, one disassembled engine (1600), and 2 props.(one is a new Peery). No Paperwork for the formerly flying one. Only sold as a complete package. Lots of extras....... Enough stuff to definitely build one good airplane, with a good start on a second one......Serious interest....Contact Ed Fisher at 330-518-8383....for owner's contact information....

Another Sonerai 1 project has become available....Wings are finished/skinned, with no 'S' mod. new tips. Has ailerons. Fuselage nearly ready for cover, Square Tail surfaces. On a 1/2" gear, with Azusa Wheels/brakes. Has motor mount, canopy frame for Cassutt type flat-wrap canopy. Has Fuel tank, some control system components, Fiberglass cowl, 12" dia. aluminum Spinner....NO engine or prop. No Paperwork, but has drawings. Welding appears to be good. A great start on a supervee, For $1,600.00...located in Ohio. This belongs to a friend of mine......Ed Fisher, raceair77@gmail.com

Joe, Yes, it is a deal. I wish I had the funds to acquire it, but with all my projects, hobby funds that do come from time to time get spread pretty thin!! If you are interested, e-mail me and I can give you contact info....ED

I'll spread the word, we need to get a fleet of S1's flying so we can get an event on the calendar

Yes, My wife is very understanding as well, and I am at my 'limit' on projects.....We need to try to keep this project in the group of Supervee enthusiasts if possible..... It is definately worth the money......ED

Well, I went ahead and bought the Sonerai 1 project, that now makes four Suppervees in my shop......More than anything, I wanted to have it to help supply components that are badly needed for Beetlebomb, but also to keep it in the fray, so to speak, and down the road I will sell it to the right person for a reasonable price......ED

Thanks, Joe. Getting Supervee Air Sports up and running is taking time, and will take more time, but as I said, when a project comes along that we need within our 'group', we need to scoop it up. We need people like you, and need some newcomers who can get involved in working on a project.... When we have airplanes, we will have pilots, and the Venues will present themselves. I still have two airports that are quality facilities that are waiting to hold a Supervee Event..... In the meantime, I still keep an eye peeled for projects, airplanes, and people who can come into the group.....I may offer joint ownership in one of my projects to someone local who may need a little push to get involved... All part of 'team building'....ED

I had a conversation last night with a friend from the Formula Vee days who has essentially a sonerai 1 pile of parts which could make up 1 1/2 to two sonerai 1's…... I formerly described this project in my October 14th, 2011 post on this thread……. This would be a great project to build up a flyable Supervee…..C'mon guys, 2 grand would buy it all….Contact me for more info….Project is located in Texas…Ed
