Neil…..The plans show the specs…I believe it may have been 1/16"…45 degree grain mahogany… If not it could be the 3/32" thick mohog. Lately the Tailwind guys have been using a 90 degree, metric 'Oakume' (SP) that is 'close' to 1/8" thick….A weight penalty, but 'very' inexpensive compared to the Mohog…. At 6'-2"….You may have to do what a lot of the sonerai guys do,, which is raise the headrest an inch or so…..Wittman himself was every bit of 6 foot I think…… Good luck, I hope you can make this deal and get the project!!…Ed

My friend Dan Dade regretfully needs to sell his V-Witt project, Supervee #69. Formerly a flying airplane, it is now without paperwork, is torn down to the skeleton, and is missing a few small parts (Some cowl and canopy parts) There are a host of engine parts that go with it, and the unique prop extension shaft is there, But I do not think the 'cone' is built yet. Asking $3,200.00….. Anyone wishing more information, contact me at raceair77@gmail.com…. Project is located in the Dayton, Ohio area…….Ed
