Guys, I've been doing my research to build a safe powerplant. In looking for parts and pieces, I've run across 3 2100D engines on Barnstormers all for less than parts. Does anybody have experience with this engine? I'd be interested in hearing your experiences. Thanks Mark

Mark, I am hoping the engine people comment on this. I have zero experience with the Revmasters, but they have been installed on Sonerai 2's. I believe they are a tad heavier than the other VW conversions. Ed

Thx Ed I was having trouble getting on the sonerai site and thought I'd ask here. I'll post over there this evening. Mark

I have a Revmaster 2100D. The extra weight is in the crank and flange bearing.....which is not a bad place for it, if you ask me.

I know Jeff Lange is a great engine builder, but I also know he is very busy these days…It would be nice to see someone in Supervee step forward and become the sports engine 'guru' of sorts, all in an effort to promote safety, and camaraderie…….Charlie and Rick were those people in the old FV days…..

'And along engine lines, I am still looking for an original set of 'FV' engine rules……Nothing so far. Lost mine in a fire many years ago...

Ed, I know you aren't at home but have you had any luck on the engine rules? I figured Jim might have had a set or the "reunionized" FV racers could maybe come up with most of them. Dave
